Dr. Kelleher is a graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she also earned her ACVS Diplomat status. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist with IVAS and completed the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course. She manages an equine advanced imaging and orthopaedic clinic as an associate and surgeon with a multiple veterinarian practice in southern California. As an means of managing her surgical and orthopaedic cases, Dr. Kelleher uses acupuncture, laser, herbal therapies, and aroma therapy as a means of managing patients. She feel a lack of simple, easy to use, image-based mobile medical records systems that would be helpful for veterinarians performing similar therapies, in a clinic or ambulatory setting, thus set out to solve this problem with the creation of Acuro.
Yakin Patel has extensive experiences in using technology for the product development and commercialization to accomplish strategic goals. He has the ability to foster technology innovation, drive a concept to reality, synthesize, design, implement, and lead to accomplish strategic goals through process and technology solutions. Yakin full cycle product development experiences for the Life Sciences, Technology, Consumer Packaged Goods, & Manufacturing industry domains. Prior to BosLeo, Yakin held positions at Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, Sonoco Products Co, Ventro, Caterpillar, and Siemens-Westinghouse. Yakin holds MBA from Pepperdine University, MS from University of Central Florida at Orlando, and Bachelor from National Institute of Technology (India). Yakin co-founded Acuro, in collaboration with Dr. Kelleher as a creative challenge to apply technology to fulfill unmet needs in the animal healthcare domain.
Dr. Ann-Marie Wolfrum graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she received her B.A. in Business and Economics and worked in Detroit and Chicago in market research and in the horse industry. After graduating from veterinary school, she completed a one year equine internship at Pacific Crest Equine in Exeter, CA. She attended the Chi Institute in Ocala, Florida and completed her training as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist including additional education in advanced acupuncture techniques. Dr. Wolfrum's professional interests lie in performance horse medicine, anesthesia, and acupuncture.
